Desirable Crochet Motif is a rewrite of my first two books published in 2012 & 2013, plus an extra 30 motifs. My pattern writing skills have developed and improved since then, so a few years ago while I was writing my first professional book I removed them from sale. To be honest I was embarrassed to put my name to them, however I frequently received requests for them, so intended to rewrite them at some time in the future.
Fast forward to March 2020, when lockdown began I decided that the best thing to help my anxiety was to concentrate on a new project, so I started work on the motif books.
For the first 3 months I crocheted the sample motifs and worked on the first book. By June I had written almost all the square patterns when I decided it was better to publish one big book containing all 40 patterns rather than 2 small ones, so I re-started a new version and added an extra 31 patterns used in my garment, shawl & blanket designs, plus a few unpublished.
All the patterns are written in UK & US terms, plus they all have charts which show the recommended joining places.
I'm afraid the book will only be available on Amazon as its too big to publish elsewhere, however I will publish all the individual patterns on Ravelry & Etsy.
