Dulcie was designed as a elegant sweater to flatter larger ladies.
The original was made using a alpaca blend yarn, which enhances the drape, however it can be made with a wool yarn, which will result in a more cuddly sweater.
 
Size
The pattern is written for 2 sizes
The larger size will fit up to a size 42 inch chest and the smaller size will up to a size 38 inch chest.
The sweater from shoulder to bottom measures 26 inches.
The model is wearing the large size.
 
You will need
Small/Medium - 800 gms of DK – 240/260 metres per 100gms.
Large - 900 gms of DK – 240/260 metres per 100gms.
You can use any yarn you want as long as it is the same meterage as the pattern
4 mm crochet hook, you may need to change the hook size to achieve the correct tension.
A sewing needle for sewing in ends.
