Christmas is getting closer, in fact there is only 7 days until the big day.
I'm so excited as it will be the first Christmas that we spend with our Grandbaby.
Luckily we live next door to his other grandparents so there are no grandparent issues as to whose turn it is to spend Christmas with the baby. Instead of which he will spend his very first Christmas day with all his grandparents (including one set of great grandparents), most of his aunts & uncles and 4 dogs all crammed into a tiny house - its going to be a big mess of chaotic love.
Christmas getting closer also means you only have a few days left to take advantage of my "25 days to go" sale.
There is a 25% on all items in my SHOP, including my book, if you buy the book you will also receive 3 postcards each with a Ravelry pattern code, meaning you can download the patterns for free.
The Ravelry pattern code stops working on boxing day, you can find my Ravelry pattern shop HERE
Last week we had a very sad duty to do, our beautiful Maine Coon Billy had reached the end of his days and we had to make the heartbreaking decision to have him put to sleep.
He was nearly 16 and very ill, but it doesn't help to know that we did the right thing.
The house seems empty without him, he's always been one of my team of helpers and tested all my blankets and I will miss him dreadfully, especially as he used to follow me around like a dog and shout at me if he was hungry.
The photo's below are of Billy helping me to write Rainbow Crocheted Blankets.
